I am currently using a Windows XP 32-bit machine, and I am trying to make some gimp plugins. I just learned Python yesterday, and I saved a sample script here:
Daniel PendergastDaniel PendergastC:Program FilesGIMP-2.0sharegimp2.0scripts.
I don't know why but it is not showing up in Gimp at all. I've also noticed that since I've upgraded to Gimp 2.8, all of the built-in plugins are not in this folder anymore. Are they supposed to go somewhere else?26322 gold badges44 silver badges1515 bronze badges
- I installed gimp-plugin-registry via apt-get, which is supposed to contain separate+. After installing it, gimp has many new plugins enabled, but still doesn't have cmyk mode nor does it open cmyk psd files. In the plugin browser i can see the separate plugin (which already should have enabled cmyk image mode, no?), but not the separate+ plugin.
- AwesomeBump is a free and open source graphic app written using Qt library. It was made as an alternative to known gimp plugin Insane Bump or the commercial tool Crazy Bump. It is designed to generate normal, height, specular or ambient occlusion, metallic, roughness.

Batch image Manipulation Plugin is a plugin used to set manipulation on a bunch of images. It is one of the great GIMP plugins. Manipulations like Crop, resize, watermark, format conversion, rename, color correction, flip, rotate etc. Are available in BIMP by default.
I have two directories: one showing red circle, other showing green on top when i clicked on any directory) (green one works for me)

To combine all the different more or less incomplete answers:
Your Python scripts go in the %UserProfile%/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins folder. This folder is, as mentioned, hidden, so make your explorer show hidden files.
Also make sure that your Python installation is working (GIMP 2.8 uses python 2.7). You can add the path to Python in your Windows PATH system variable. Or you can add the system variable PYTHONHOME and set it to the python folder in your GIMP installation folder.
Cricut software update. Be sure to restart GIMP when you add plugins or change the system variables.

Please note that .gimp is a hidden folder/directory

To access Gimp 2.10 plugins directory in Windows 10 open File Explorer and enter the following address in the address bar:
Marco LackovicMarco Lackovic
Try the C:Program FilesGIMP-2.0plug-ins directory.
BeachhouseBeachhouse
It is in C:/Documents and Settings//.Gimp-2.8
You may have to unhide hidden folders under the Folder Options control panel.

This package should conflict with
gimp-plugin-separate
, as both provide the file /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/separate

Is this package still working with current gimp?
Just installed it in GIMP together with the two recommend icc packages but GIMP still says it doesnt have any CMYK Support and so cant open my CMYK Files.
Arch Wiki tells nothing more than to install this package here so thats why i wonder if it still works..
